2025

Our 1st Mission

Rock & Rouge Women’s Music & Food Festival & beyond was established on December 7, 2017 and is dedicated to the empowerment of women’s culture, and granting small scholarships to summer camps for girls pursuing interests in the education of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.). The City of New Orleans presented a Proclamation to Rock & Rouge in 2020 for our community service.

Give NOLA Day 2025

Rock & Rouge Foundation for GiveNOLA Day, May 6th, 2025, presented a donation of $750 to the Three Muses Faubourg House on Frenchmen Street, benefiting its founder, Lycia Ferguson. Additionally, we provided a donation to Greater New Orleans STEM Initiatives, enabling two girls to attend the SeaPerch Underwater ROV Summer Camp. We are so pleased to give back to the community for girls and women. We may be small but we are mighty!!

Rock & Rouge Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to granting small scholarships to young women who seek to expand their knowledge in the fields of S.T.E.A.M. We believe that introducing young girls to S.T.E.A.M. will lead to a more diverse, inclusive working world that gives all people the same rewarding opportunities in building better lives.

Give NOLA Day 2020

Rock & Rouge Foundation put our mission into action this Give NOLA Day, June 2, 2020, through awarding grants to both Upturn Arts and Electric Girls. Like the Rock & Rouge Foundation, Upturn Arts, and Electric Girls are committed to ensuring access to educational opportunities for the youth of New Orleans.
